Jackson College Soccer Seasons End

Dan Bulley, Head Coach of the Jackson College men’s soccer team guided the Jets to a 9-4-1 record this season. He joined us on ESPN 101.9FM to talk about his team, but also praise coach Andy Hosmer and the Jackson College Women’s soccer team; who finished their season with a 13-5 record and a trip to the regional finals.

“Coach Hosmer has been at the helm for a while now, and put an incredible amount of effort in. Just a top, top guy and top coach. The staff and the players have really come together this year, and it really is long overdue so congratulations to them.” Coach Bulley said.

At the Regional tournament this past weekend, the Jackson Men’s season ended in the Region 12 Semifinal round with a 2-1 loss to Ancilla, who would then lose in the regional championship game against top-seed Muskegon. For the women, Jackson College secured a place in the Regional Finals with a victory over Lake Michigan College 4-0, before falling 6-1 to Monroe Community College. Monroe CC will face Region 4 champ, and unbeaten Moraine Valley in the North Central District Championship on November 3 in Palo Hills, IL.
