CP Federal Credit Union’s community education program teaches their young members how to save, share, and spend their money wisely through their financial literacy and student run credit union programs. This year the theme for their student savings program is “Saving is out of this World!”
2019 Partners in Education Scholarship topics:
This year CP Federal tried something new, allowing students to choose a topic from the 3 topics below:
- If you could create an out of this world savings program to encourage teens to save money, what would you do and why?
- If you could travel throughout space and time, where would you go and how would you raise the money to get there? Once there, how do you plan to spend your money?
- 100 people travel to mars. You’re in charge of creating the Mars Treasury and developing an economic system for a newly developed community. Tell us about your community and how you would manage commerce. Be creative and have fun!
The Partners in Education scholarship program is designed to help further educational opportunities for CP Federal Credit Union’s student members. Students are encouraged to write an essay or produce a video that best addresses a specific topic. As an advocate of financial education, CP Federal Credit Union is proud to offer student run credit unions and financial education programs in over 50 schools and counting
