Despite 21 points from Daelyn Merillat and 17 from Madison Montgomery, Jackson College lost to visiting Ancilla College on Wednesday night 83-71. Jackson stuck around all night closing the gap to 4 points frequently, but failing to take a lead. Ancilla iced the game at the free throw line. Talia Bee led all scorers with 33 including 14-14 from the free throw line. Daynah Bell added 15 points including 11-16 free throws. In all Ancilla went to the line 45 times making 34-45.
Jackson was paced by Daelyn Merillat with 21 points. Madison Montgomery added 17 points.
