Big hockey fundraiser this Saturday at the Optimist Ice Arena.. Stick It To Cancer honors the life of Kellen McCord. Kellen was a Jackson hockey player who lost a courageous battle with Neuroblastoma in November of 2021, he was just 14 at the time and would have been a junior this year. WKHM spoke with Lumen hockey coach Dan Brady.

Games are scheduled for 2pm and 4pm, with Lumen taking on Okemos at 6:30pm. All proceeds from the event benefit the CS Mott Children’s Hospital Pediatric Oncology in the memory of Kellen McCord.
