Earlier this week a video from the Jackson County Courthouse just about went viral. The video featured Sheriff Gary Schuette with some kittens that were found nearby by a courthouse employee who brought them into the office.

It just so happened, Lydia Sattler, the Director of the Jackson County Animal Shelter, was at the courthouse that day.

The kittens, named McBain, Jordan, and Guernsey, are doing fine and are now available for adoption at the Jackson County Animal Shelter. Sattler says if you find a stray, chances are it may not be too far from its home.

Of course if the animal is sick or injured, she suggests bringing it to the animal shelter on Spring Arbor Rd. More information can be found on their website below.
