Jackson, Mich. (WKHM) — Northwest High School will be the site of a charity 3-on-3 youth basketball tournament this Sunday (November 16). One of the organizers, Javon Flowers, spoke with WKHM about the story of Kimmie Garrett on AM Jackson. Garrett is a young girl who the tournament is being held in honor of.

Proceeds from the tournament will go toward the Garrett family to help them make sure that Kimmie is able to receive the best care possible.

The tournament will are separate divisions for different age ranges and genders. The divisions are 3rd/4th graders, 5th/6th graders, 7th/8th graders, and high schoolers.
Registration confirmation for the teams on Sunday begin at 7:00 a.m., the games will begin at 8:00 a.m.
