Jackson, Mich. (WKHM) — There will be intermittent closures on I-94 between Race and Mt. Hope roads in Jackson County for permit work February 2-3.
The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) has announced that they have issued a permit to Young’s Environmental Cleanup, Inc. for environmental cleanup work on I-94 at Race Road and Mt. Hope Road.
The work is scheduled to begin on Monday, February 2 at around 9 a.m., with an estimated end time of 3 p.m. on Tuesday, February 3.
This permit work will require intermittent lane closures in the area throughout the operation to ensure the safety of workers and motorists.
Drivers are advised to expect delays in the project zone while the work is ongoing.
