Consumers Energy and the City of Jackson have announced a meal distribution program.  The program called “Our Town” is designed to help some area restaurants, and catering businesses stay open while providing free meals to the public in need. Director of information for the city Aaron Dimick said that the city has raised over $500,000 so far that will go directly into the program.

The program will officially start on February 1st, and the distribution will be located at the Martin Luther King Center, located at 1107 Adrian street in Jackson. If you would like to make a donation, please visit www.jacksoncf.org
