Jackson, Mich. — Jackson’s annual Business-to-Business expo, JAXPO, has been cancelled for this year, but the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce is launching a new event to take its place.

JAXTOBER is a campaign encouraging all Jackson County residents to shop in Jackson, eat in Jackson, play in Jackson, to promote Jackson, and ultimately, to love Jackson all month long.  JAXTOBER will culminate with one lucky Jackson County resident winning 20-$50 gift cards to local shops and restaurants, a $1,000 prize! The Jackson County Chamber of Commerce will utilize social media and email, to promote daily fun facts about Jackson, popular, family friendly destinations in Jackson, and a Business of the Day. We kindly ask our Media Partners to share and participate in #JAXTOBER.

Registration for the JAXTOBER Grand Prize can be done in four easy steps:

1. Register for the JAXTOBER Daily Email at jacksonchamber.org/jaxtober
2. Download the Experience Jackson Tours App on the Apple or Google Play Store
3. Take a picture, selfie, or video of your favorite Jackson business or destination
4. Post the picture, selfie, or video on social media, tag the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce, and add the hashtags #JacksonMI #Jaxtober
