A jury trial has been set in Hillsdale County for 21-year-old Seth Magda, accused of hitting and killing a Jonesville teen in June of last year. Magda was originally charged with one count of operating under the influence causing death. In March, one count each of reckless driving causing death, manslaughter with a motor vehicle and second degree murder were added. Magda was allegedly driving while intoxicated on Mosherville Road and going 98 miles an hour when he struck 16-year-old Braxton Petrie, who was riding a bicycle.
