A high speed pursuit in Delton, Michigan launched a pick-up truck onto the roof of a home, Friday, January 17th.

The chase exceeded speeds of 100mph.

Police say that the driver was unfamiliar with the area and lost control of the truck when over-correcting a hard turn, launching the truck onto the roof of a nearby home.

The home, which was unoccupied, sustained serious structural damage. The truck hit powerlines before landing on the roof, which knocked out power temporarily in the area.

The driver was able to walk away from the crash uninjured.
