Jackson, Mich. (WKHM) — Get your gardens ready! The Jackson Area Career Center will be opening its greenhouses for the 17th annual Agriscience/FFA Plant and Flower Sale this Saturday (May 3) and next Saturday (May 10) from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. J.A.C.C. Agriscience Instructor Jason Gehrke gave WKHM the scoop on what will be available to purchase at the sale.

Agriscience and FFA students play a big role in the yearly event, from planting thousands of seeds, to sale set-up and helping customers load their cars. Instructor Gehrke says this sale shows those students the results of their hard work.

He also talked about some of the current trends that people who attend the sale can look forward to seeing.

The Career Center greenhouses are located at 6800 Browns Lake Road in Jackson, across from Jackson College.
