Saturday will be a big day at the Jackson County Animal Shelter on Spring Arbor Road. The shelter will receive 25 dogs from a shelter in Mississippi including many puppies just weeks old. These dogs and many others are looking for new homes. Lydia Sattler is the director of the Animal Shelter.

First come, first served Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. All dogs have been spayed or neutered, have had appropriate shots and been microchipped.
