President Trump awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the highest civilian honor, to Roger Penske. Penske is most famous for his ownership of Team Penske, DJR Team Penske, the Penske Corporation, and other automotive-related businesses. President Trump called Penske a giant of American industry.
At Michigan International Speedway’s June race Penske was inducted into the speedway’s Wall of Fame along with Jack Roush and Darrell Waltrip.
