The Detroit Pistons have traded former league MVP Derrick Rose to the New York Knicks for Dennis Smith Jr. and a 2021 Second Round Draft Pick. The draft pick comes via a trade with The Charlotte Hornets, and will make Rose a New York Knick for the second time since the 2016-2017 season. Rose is coming off his best year shooting with a career high 49% field goal percentage, while averaging 18.8 points per game for Detroit last year.
