Hanover, Mich. — An incident in Hanover Township Sunday, which police believe to be fueled by drugs and alcohol, has resulted in the arraignment of Paul Stiles for the murder of his nephew, 34-year-old Devin Stiles.
Authorities say that they responded to a residence on Stony Point Road around 5 p.m. Sunday after a woman reported her friend was shot by his uncle. Paul Stiles, 55, was arrested after he exited the home, and his nephew, Devin, was found dead inside from an apparent gunshot wound to the head.
Paul Stiles remains lodged in the Jackson County Jail and faces the possibility of life in prison if convicted. The investigation continues.
