Jackson Mayor Daniel Mahoney made a formal announcement with a Press Release Tuesday evening, March 5th and followed up his announcement with his weekly visit to WKHM Wednesday morning, March 6th. He will run for seat 46 in the State House this November. The seat is currently held by Republican Kathy Schmaltz. Mahoney will run as a Democrat.
