Jackson, Mich. (WKHM) — After nearly six years of bringing country stars to Jackson County, Country Boots & Bands says 2025 will be its final season.

Founder Scott Vitale says rising costs and competition from bigger cities like Detroit and Grand Rapids have made it tough to book top-tier talent without raising ticket prices — something he didn’t want to do to local fans.

Launched in 2019, the concert series brought names like Wynonna Judd, Justin Moore, and Walker Hayes to town. Vitale says he’s proud of the memories made and grateful for the community’s support.

While full-scale shows will end, he still plans to work with the Michigan Theatre to bring other acts to Jackson.

Upcoming concerts include Chase Rice on May 30 and Parmalee on November 7. Tickets are on sale now at the Country Boots & Bands website.
