Jackson, Mich. (WKHM) — When Jackson Toys for Tots collects the donated toys from the boxes around the community, that means their work has just begun to prepare them for kids this season.
Mike Brown with Toys for Tots recently described the process of how he and the other volunteer elves get the collected toys ready to WKHM on AM Jackson.
Brown explained that Toys for Tots is there for families who may be struggling to afford gifts, and is always prepared to help them be able to put something under the tree for their kids.
He also made sure to thank all of the other elves that volunteer their time and effort to make it possible for Toys for Tots to achieve their goals, as well as the Jackson community for their continuous generosity.
