Brooklyn, Mich. (WKHM) — NASCAR has released their full schedule for 2026, which includes another return to Michigan International Speedway (MIS) in Brooklyn for the Cup Series and the CRAFTSMAN Truck Series on the weekend of June 6-7.

MIS President Joe Fowler told WKHM that the Irish Hills will be ready to once again host NASCAR’s best and most electric competition.

The race weekend at MIS also took place in June during the 2025 season, which was a move from its previous spot in August. President Fowler said that the June weekend change was received with positive results this year.

The action at MIS in 2025 saw Stewart Friesen win the CRAFTSMAN Truck Series contest in triple overtime, and Denny Hamlin secured the checkered flag in the Cup Series main event for his third win of the season.

Ticket renewals are happening until early September, with more ticket information for the 2026 MIS races available at mispeedway.com.

Michigan International Speedway has hosted the NASCAR Cup Series for more than 50 years. The full 2026 NASCAR schedule can be found at www.nascar.com/schedule.
