Jackson, Mich. (WKHM) — The 2026 MLK Diversity Breakfast, held by the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce, took place at the American 1 Event Center on Friday morning.
The breakfast was attended by multiple Jackson County business owners, elected officials, community leaders, and numerous local school districts.

Keynote speaker Dr. George Grant Jr. (pictured at the top of the article), provided WKHM with the message he hoped his speech spread at the event.
Dr. Grant talked about how he believes these kinds of events can make sure the life and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. is recognized not just in the room, but is carried with attendants after the show is over.
Jackson School of the Arts also presented a collaborative art piece that was made to honor Martin Luther King Jr., which will be sold at auction at a later time (pictured below).
