Meet Robert, a 4-month-old black and white kitten who’s been quietly waiting for someone to notice him. He may not run to the front of the kennel when visitors walk by, but don’t let that fool you—Robert has much love to give, and he just needs someone willing to give him a chance.

Like many shy kittens, Robert takes a little time to warm up to new people. One of our volunteers shared that once Robert feels comfortable, he loves to roll onto his back for chin rubs and will purr with pure happiness. It’s his special way of saying, “I trust

you.”
