The V.A. nationally hold an event at all V.A. hospitals and outpatient clinics called the VA2K which promotes healthy lifestyle and also to collect donations for LOCAL homeless veterans. There is a marked, 2K walk behind the clinic here. We also accept physical and monetary donations (again, all remain local). The main attraction is that of a classic car show (this will be the 2nd year for this). Would you guys be willing to both promote this for us with PSAs on your radio station and also be out here with your van broadcasting? It will be on Thursday May 22 from 11am-1pm. The classic cars will likely start arriving by 9am but again the event itself is only 2 hours long. Blackman/Leoni Township Police will be here as well for public safety.
