Jackson, Mich. (WKHM) — Columbia Township emergency crews responded to a three-vehicle crash Monday evening at the intersection of Hyde and Reed Roads in Clarklake — the second personal injury accident there in just two weeks.
Authorities say 21-year-old Margret Collier of Jackson was heading west on Reed Road around 7:30 p.m. when she failed to stop at the signed intersection. Her 2021 Ford Econoline van struck a northbound Chevrolet Malibu driven by 19-year-old Matheson Hess of Clarklake. The impact pushed the Malibu into a third vehicle parked in a nearby driveway.
Both Collier and Hess were treated at the scene and taken to Henry Ford Health in Jackson with non-life-threatening injuries. Collier was cited for running the stop sign.
