Jackson, Mich. (WKHM) — The Balloon Federation of America’s Women’s National Championship took place in Jackson for the third consecutive year this past week as part of the Hot Air Jubilee’s festivities. The pilot who earned their spot at the top was Cheri White, who scored 16,575 points in the “Code Red” balloon.

2nd Place finisher Meredith Bennett received 15,652 points in the “Moonshine” balloon.

White has now captured her third title, with previous wins in 1999 and 2016. Defending champion Amanda Brodbeck, who had won the event in back-to-back years, did not participate in the 2025 Championship.
