This weekend Jackson area realtors and Home Builder Association members will be putting on the gloves and picking up the tools to spruce up a Jackson neighborhood and it’s part of the Curb Appeal Project with the Jackson Area Association of Realtors and the HBA of Jackson, Hillsdale, and Lenawee. Laura Dwyer-Schlecte chairs JAAR’s Equal Opportunity Committee and brought this idea to the board.
The HBA members didn’t hesitate either according to Patrick O’Dowd from the association.
The project is currently seeking volunteers, donations, materials and equipment, and skilled trades. You can help out by contacting the HBA or the JAAR offices. Laura Dwyer-Schlecte explains why curb appeal is important, even if you aren’t putting your house up for sale.
