
JACKSON (WKHM) — Jackson police say a man is in custody after officers responded to reports of threats with a gun on Sunday, September 14th.
According to police, the suspect drove off before officers arrived, but a vehicle matching the description was quickly located. When officers attempted a traffic stop, the man fled on foot. After a short chase, he was taken into custody.
A police K9 later found the firearm hidden along the suspect’s path of flight. The man was booked into the Jackson County Jail and is facing multiple weapons charges, along with resisting arrest.
