Just after 2:20am on Sunday morning, a Jackson County Sergeant was on his way back to the Sheriff’s Office when he observed a Ford F-150 on W Washington Avenue near Blackstone Street in the City of Jackson driving with a missing tire on the passenger-side front.
The vehicle hit the curb multiple times and was emitting sparks. A subject was arrested for a 1st offense of operating while intoxicated after they refused an on-scene breathalyzer.
The Jackson Police Department responded subsequently to a utility pole that was struck on W Washington, where the vehicle’s missing tire was located.
