Shots fired in the area near Jackson High School caused the Jackson Police Department to issue a lockdown at JHS, Jackson Pathways and Reynolds Hall Monday afternoon. The lockdown order was issued at 2:20 p.m. and was lifted at 2:40, after police reportedly apprehended a suspect. Due to the lockdown, school buses across the district were delayed by about 30 minutes in returning students home from school.
