A skydiving accident in Napoleon Township left one woman injured, Saturday.

Emergency crews responded to Skydive Tecumseh at around 4:40PM.

The woman, who is in her 20s, fell after her parachute folded several hundred feet above the landing target, preventing her from properly manuevering or braking.

Her fall to the ground was estimated at around 30 mph.

The impact left the woman unconcious, but she came to by the time emergency personel arrived.

The woman was sent to Henry Ford Allegiance Hospital by ambulance after she refused to be airlifted by helicopter.

Her identity or condition have not yet been released.
