A small jump at the pump over the weekend.  AAA says that the average price of a gallon of gas is up to $5.04.  That’s up two cents from yesterday and up about 45 cents from last week.

Oil analysts say the don’t think the prices will drop anytime soon due, in part, to summer travel.

Governor Whitmer hinted last week during the Mackinac Policy Conference that some agreement to suspend the gas tax or cut prices in some way could be reached with legislative leaders soon.
