Jackson, Mich. — Sparrow Health System is now officially a part of University of Michigan Health. Sparrow and U of M have received the necessary regulatory approvals for the partnership — after announcing the plans back in December.
With the addition of Sparrow, U of M now oversees more than 200 care sites across the state and has grown into a $7 billion organization. University of Michigan Health has committed $800 million in investment to Sparrow, which will be funded through hospital operations and investments over the next eight years.
