The man accused in the shooting death of 18-year-old Mia Sims has been arrested.
Jackson Police say 21-year-old Antonio Green was taken into custody Tuesday afternoon in Fresno, California.
Green is facing multiple charges, including second-degree murder, discharging a firearm at a building causing death, and felony firearm.
Police Chief Christopher Simpson praised the Michigan State Police Fugitive Team and local detectives for their efforts in tracking Green down, saying their tireless work led to the arrest.
Authorities are now working to extradite Green back to Michigan, where he will face charges in connection with Sims’ death.
