Lansing,  Mich. — A committee consisting of 29 people will help find a new president for Michigan State University.

Among those involved in the search are basketball coach Tom Izzo, four members of the MSU Board of Trustees along with leaders of several student and faculty groups.

The university has been holding open meetings and taking feedback on what qualities and characteristics the new President should have. Former provost Theresa Woodruff has been acting as interim president since last October when then-president Samuel Stanley resigned.
