Our Story
McKibbin Media Group (MMG) was founded in 2019 by Jamie and Katina McKibbin when they purchased Jackson Radio Works from longtime owners Bruce and Sue Goldsen. That cluster of stations serving the Jackson, Michigan community soon expanded to include two additional stations in Hillsdale.
Jamie, a familiar voice and local personality on Jackson Radio Works, was deeply connected to the Jackson community. Katina, a dedicated educator, shared his passion for serving local listeners and businesses.
After Jamie’s unexpected passing in 2020, Katina—now retired from teaching—continues to lead McKibbin Media Group, carrying forward his legacy of local connection, community involvement, and results-driven marketing.
Today, MMG operates six stations across Jackson and Hillsdale:
K105.3, NewsTalk 970AM/101.5FM, 95.9 The Power Cow, Fox Sports 101.9FM, 92.1 WCSR, and 99-5 The Dale.
