A of 9:30 westbound and eastbound I-94 near Albion is closed this morning after a truck hauling scrap metal rolled over. The crash happened around 7:20 a.m. near Eaton Rapids Road, exit 124, just east of Albion. Michigan State Police say the truck spilled its load of scrap across both sides of the freeway, leaving just one shoulder lane open in each direction. The driver suffered minor injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital. Authorities say the cleanup and investigation will take several hours, and drivers should avoid the area and find alternate routes.
