(Jackson, Mich.) — The Jackson County Department of Transportation says Dettman Road will be closed between East Michigan Avenue and Blake Road starting Tuesday, October 14th.

The closure is expected to last through Thursday, October 16th, weather permitting.

Dettman Road will be closed to through traffic, but access will still be available for residents, emergency vehicles, school buses, mail, and garbage services.

No detour routes will be posted, so drivers are encouraged to find alternate routes and plan ahead to avoid delays.
