Jackson, Mich. (WKHM) — The Jackson County Department of Transportation (JCDOT) has announced an upcoming road closure for paving on Dettman Road between Blake Road and Michigan Avenue.

The department says closure will begin on Monday, September 29, and is expected to be completed by Thursday, October 2, weather permitting.

During this time, Dettman Road will be fully closed to through traffic. Access will be maintained for local residents, emergency vehicles, school buses, mail delivery, and garbage services.

According to JCDOT, no detour routes will be posted. Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes and adjust their travel plans to avoid delays.
