Jackson, Mich. (WKHM) — A 64-year-old woman suffered minor injuries Monday night after another driver ran a red light and crashed into her vehicle, causing it to roll. The crash happened just after 8 p.m. at the intersection of North West Avenue and West Argyle Street in Jackson, near Burger King.

Emergency crews arrived to find the woman’s vehicle on its side in the intersection. She was treated at the scene. Police say she had been pulling out of the Burger King parking lot when a northbound vehicle ran the red light and struck her car.

The other driver, a 20-year-old man, was not hurt. Police are requesting charges for a moving violation causing injury through the Jackson County Prosecutor’s Office. The case remains under investigation.
