The Mann House in Concord presents the 4th Annual Women’s History Conference.
Teaching from the Heart! — Two Sisters in Pursuit of Education!
For the last several years the Michigan History Center, Department of Natural Resources, has sponsored a conference on women’s history from a local, state, and national perspective. The conference takes place in and around the Historic Village of Concord, Michigan. The village was home to the Mann family—Daniel, his wife Ellen and daughters Mary Ida and Jessie Ellen. All three women in the family were teachers. This year’s conference will honor the sister’s lifelong interest in education.
Cost $40 includes lunch
