The Leslie Area Chamber of Commerce will once again present the Leslie Lighted Holiday Parade on Saturday, December 13th in downtown Leslie.
Come watch the parade !! Or, come join the parade !! Decorate your car, your truck, your float, your trailer, your bike !! This event is free and all are welcome to celebrate the holiday season with us.
The parade lineup will start at 5:00pm at the Leslei Middle School parking lot off Kimball Street.
Participants need to arrive prior to 6:30pm to provide your info for us to get it to our announcers downtown. The parade will step off at 7:00pm.
The Chamber is pleased to announce that our Grand Marshall leading this year’s parade will be Leslie Public School’s very own Nancy Lewis.
Participant registration is NOT required but PLEASE send us an email to let us know you are coming. This helps us with logistical planning and we will send reminders and last-minute details. Email: info@leslieareachamberofcommerce.org
Spectator Parking will be available in parking lot off Commercial Drive; at Woodworth Elementary and along various side streets.
And – lots of activities throughout the day …:
– Onondaga Community Church (4474 Onondaga Road, Onondaga) will host a Cookie Sale from 10:00am to 1:00pm. Stock up on lots of wonderful goodies.
– Leslie American Legion Post (422 Woodworth Street) will host Santa Claus from 11:00am to 1:00pm. Free photos, cookie & hot cocoa with donation of a non-perishable food item for Leslie Outreach. This event is free and all are welcome.
– Harmonious Health & Home will host visits with Santa at their downtown location (110 S. Main Street) from noon to 4:30pm.
– The Leslie Congregational United Church of Christ (116 W. Bellevue; across from the Gazebo) will host a Workshop with Santa from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Lots of family fun & time with Santa.
– The Leslie Area Historical Museum (107 E. Bellevue Street) will be open from 5:00pm to 8:00pm for your visiting pleasure.
– The Leslie High School Choir will be at the Gazebo (corner of Bellevue Road & Armstrong Streets) at about 6:00pm for your listening pleasure and to light the Christmas tree at 6:30pm.
– Kona Ice will be at the corner of E. Bellevue & Main Street
– LACC volunteers will be downtown passing out Santa Hats and Candy Canes during the parade.
