Jackson County Sheriff’s Department continues to investigate what appears to be a fatal crash that investigators are unclear when it happened. Sunday afternoon around 3, a vehicle was located by two people walking in the woods on their property near M-60 and McCain Rd. They notified authorities about the vehicle and also what appeared to be a body in an advanced state of decomposition. The vehicle is believed to a 33 year old man from Eaton Rapids, the Jackson County Medical Examiner’s office will confirm identification, a report is expected soon.
