Jackson, Mich. (WKHM) — A former Jackson High standout is taking his football talents north of the border. Linebacker Micah Cretsinger has signed with the Ottawa RedBlacks of the Canadian Football League.

The Saginaw Valley State alum went undrafted in the 2025 NFL Draft but did attend rookie minicamp with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The RedBlacks announced five new signings on Wednesday, including Cretsinger. Ottawa heads to Montreal for a preseason matchup this Saturday, with their regular season kicking off June 5 in Saskatoon.
