
The process to come to a state budget may continue to play out in Lansing this week. The House and Senate currently are about 30 billion dollars apart in their respective budget proposals. Senator Sue Shink recently on WKHM said she is concerned about the huge cuts to Corrections and the Secretary of State in the house budget. At some point the two sides will have to come to a number somewhere in the middle. Senator Shink said reductions will have to happen across the board.
