Jackson, Mich. (WKHM) — The free-to-attend Jackson County Airport Open House begins Saturday morning at the airport at 10 o’clock. Airport Manager Juan Zapata provided WKHM with details about what will be happening, and the atmosphere it will bring.
Zapata says that the Open House will be a chance for those who usually would not think to visit the airport to see how it benefits Jackson County.
The impact of the airport’s function as an “economic engine” for the county was also detailed by Airport Manager Zapata.
The Jackson County Airport Open House from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. will also feature B-25 Bomber, C-47 Skytrain, and Huey Helicopter rides available for purchase by Michigan Flight Museum.
