A 25 year-old Jackson County woman was struck by a tractor trailer and killed while walking along westbound I-94 in Marshall, late Friday night.
Police responded to the scene at around 11:30PM. The woman was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The driver of the tractor trailer, a 24 year-old Manchester man, was not injured.
The accident remains under investigation. Alcohol does not appear to have been a contributing factor according to police.
