Jackson, Mich. (WKHM) — The Jackson County Chamber of Commerce is putting on the 2025 JAXPO Business Showcase to unite businesses of all kinds on Thursday afternoon at the American 1 Event Center on W Ganson Street from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m.

Rachel Buchanan with the Chamber explained that the first two hours (1:00 – 3:00) have been designed for exclusive business to business connections with Chamber members, with the later hours emphasizing consumer communications.

There will also be a chance for guests to win a prize basket by visiting premier booth vendors. Each premier booth vendor (approximately 24) is listed on a “PASSPORT” which will be distributed by Ambassadors at the Welcome Table to Guests arriving between 1:00 – 3:00.

The attendees will be invited to visit any 12 of those premier booths to have their passport stamped. Passports with 12 stamps can be entered to receive a deluxe prize basket with many Jackson themed items as well as items donated by the premier vendors.

The completed passports will be collected at the prize basket display near the entrance to the JAXPO exhibit hall. The drawing will be held at around 2:45.

Attendees can also vote on who they think has the best booth. This year, the Best Booth will be chosen by all attendees and will win their 2026 JAXPO booth at no charge.

Each guest will be given a Best Booth voting form when they arrive and will have the opportunity to vote for one. Those forms will be collected at a table near the entrance to the JAXPO exhibit hall. The Best Booth will be awarded shortly before 5:00.

Just before the event begins, the Chamber will have an economic summit luncheon with Accelerate Jackson, as explained by Chamber President and CEO Ryan Tarrant.
