Jackson, Mich. (WKHM) — Drivers in Jackson County should prepare for early morning delays this weekend on I-94 and US 127.
The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) has approved utility work for Comcast at two busy locations: US 127 at Parnall Road and I-94 at Lansing Avenue. The work is scheduled for Sunday morning, July 13, between 3 and 7 a.m., and will involve intermittent lane closures. State Police will handle traffic control.
In a separate project, MDOT will also close the Elm Road bridge over I-94 for maintenance. That closure begins at 8 a.m. Saturday, July 12, and runs through 3 p.m. Sunday.
Officials are warning drivers to expect delays and consider alternate routes.
