Jackson, Mich. (WKHM) — Drivers in Jackson County should prepare for lane closures on I-94 this week as part of a wave of more than 50 road projects launching across Michigan.
According to MDOT, eastbound I-94 between Concord Road and Michigan Avenue will see single-lane closures from 6 a.m. Monday through 3 p.m. Friday. Westbound I-94 will also be reduced to one lane in multiple spots, including Reardon Drive to Dearing Road starting Tuesday, and near Parma Road starting Thursday.
These closures are part of a statewide effort that also includes work on U.S. 131, U.S. 23, and U.S. 2.
All projects are weather-dependent. MDOT urges drivers to slow down and follow posted signs in work zones.
