
Jackson, Mich. (WKHM) — Just after 10:35 a.m. on Wednesday, May 28, a Jackson County Sheriff’s Deputy conducted a traffic stop in the area of Race Road near E. I-94 Highway. During the traffic stop it was found that the vehicle was stolen out of Jackson County. During a search of the vehicle, 3.27 grams of what authorities say is cocaine was found in 12 separate baggies.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, the driver admitted that he was going to sell the located drugs.
The driver was then placed under arrest and lodged for possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute. An additional charge of possession of a stolen vehicle is being submitted to the Jackson County Prosecutor’s Office for review.
